Huascarán 5 Hat

In KUNA we assume the commitment to help fulfill the ideals of the artisans of the Heart of the Callejon de Huaylas, in Mancos, Ancash. With the synergy created with the Huascarán Mission project, we are involved in the recognition of the textile technique and in adding value to the manual weaving of these skilled women of the Andes. The talent manifested in the elaboration of this accessory, woven entirely by hand and in 100% natural alpaca fiber, responds to the transmission of a heritage in admirable Andean textile techniques, today sheltered in the virtuous hands of the women of the textile workshop TEJIENDO ESPERANZA, in the district of Mancos, Ancash.
